Sanity

Here it is 1:00 am not sleeping and questioning my sanity,Is it just me?Why is it when I know deep inside something is right or wrong I sometimes allow others to change my mind or compromise my thoughts or actions. At what point is enough enough, couldn't God be a little more clear since hes the one who has planted these morals and values into our souls. Then again I'm sure I need to work and search harder for that answer myself, maybe just then, with that thought was a little clarity.Hmmm

I'm guessing everyone must go through that. Are there only a few rocks of humanity,if any?Do we need to live off in some far off mountain village, separated from the rest of the craziness, shave our heads and pray 24/7 for firm unwavering commitment to our soul or is this the grand design?
Maybe in our society today most everything is just too easy,we get so used to instantly googling for nearly any answer, you want to talk with someone, hell, you don't even have to dial all 7 numbers just hit the preset speed dial or better yet save the trouble of pushing that 1 button, just say their name and the phone does it for you.
Sure wish there was a speed dial button for life but maybe thats the point, strange I was trying to think of an old adage I heard similar to "it takes pressure to make a diamond"or whatever so I google adages and happened along Solomons proverbs and found this:
20:18 Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war
Maybe its time to read through proverbs.
Weird.

Lovin' your reflective side, Joel. I concur that if understanding God and His ways was easy, perhaps we would understand life better, but also, it would not be as precious. Having had some moments of great agony and desperation to know what to do, my answer came after spending not only "quality rime" but quantity of time with Him, seeking His will and to know His mind. It came, when I showed the sincerity and persistence he requests. When you know THAT, it becomes almost impossible for anyone to move you from it. We sure could use much more of that in our world today, because he knows the right way to go. I agree that Proverbs is full of pearls of wisdom... good read of anyone! Enjoy your day, J.
